ABOUT

I was born in New York, lived for more than 20 years in Puerto Rico, and currently live in New Jersey. I am married, and father to three beautiful girls: Amanda, Deirdre and Kalisto. I earned an Associates Degree in Computerized Information Systems, completed CNA training, and worked in Cordis (J&J) for five years as production operator.

My life was changed when my second daughter was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. To take care of Deirdre's medical needs, me and my wife had to move in 2008 to New Jersey where experts saved my daughter's life.

Now I live to fulfill three important roles:
-Help Deirdre to live life to the fullest
-Become a registered nurse (or respiratory therapist)
-Find a job to bring financial security to my family (and make life easier)

Life is an ongoing challenge, but Deirdre has shown both to my wife and to me how precious every second is, and that anything is possible if you keep hope and never give up. My girls are the backbones of who I am. My wife is my inspiration. I believe that our future is bright, and that step by step we will be able to accomplish many things, together.
